The Minnesota Timberwolves have defeated the Dallas Mavericks 105-100 to force a Game 5 back in Minnesota on Thursday. The Timberwolves once again came close but they once again fell short. The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić's 33 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Timberwolves' balanced attack.
The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns' 25 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Edwards added 22 points, and D'Angelo Russell had 19 points.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. The Timberwolves took a 5-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Mavericks quickly tied the game. The two teams traded baskets for the rest of the quarter, but the Timberwolves were able to make a few more plays down the stretch to secure the victory.
