Tyrone Mings And Boubacar Kamara Injury Updates As Unai Emery Delivers Good News

Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara injury updates as Unai Emery delivers 'good news'

Aston Villa duo could return after international break

Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara could be in contention to return for Aston Villa after the international break, manager Unai Emery has said. The pair have been sidelined with injuries in recent weeks, but Emery is hopeful that they will be back in action soon.

Mings has been out with a knock, while Kamara has been struggling with a calf problem. However, both players have been making good progress in their recovery and could be available for selection when Villa return to action against Brighton on 1 October.

"Mings and Kamara have both been doing well in their rehab," Emery said. "They are both ahead of schedule and could be back with the squad after the international break. It is good news for us because we have missed them both.

Mings has been a key player for Villa since joining the club from Bournemouth in 2019. The 29-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the club and has been capped 17 times by England.

Kamara joined Villa from Marseille in the summer and has quickly become a fan favourite. The 22-year-old has impressed with his performances in midfield and has already scored two goals for the club.
